Kingdom Learning Alliance was founded in 2024 following a divine calling from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our mission at KLA is to contribute to His Kingdom by fostering a Christian Family Environment where students can learn essential life skills, emphasizing fellowship and enjoyment as we engage in, "Going About Father's Business."
Known as Dr. T to students and staff, Dr. Jones holds a BA in Christian Education, an MA in Christian Psychology, a Doctorate in Theology, and a PhD in Christian Counseling. With over three decades of pastoral ministry experience, he recently served as District Superintendent for a non-profit Christian school specializing in students with unique learning needs. Ordained by the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, Dr. Jones has been instrumental in building a strong leadership team at Destiny Align Ministries and Destiny Achievement Center, uniting skilled, caring staff dedicated to supporting students. His experience also includes teaching at various educational levels and holding executive roles in nonprofits, focusing on organizational development, staff training, and managerial coaching.
Brandy has over 15 years of experience teaching middle and high school students, both in traditional classrooms and online environments. Kingdom Learning Alliance embodies a passion that emerged from her family's life experiences, redefining what a school should be. If something isn't working, it's time to pivot!
Pastors Tyson and Jennifer Prater bring nearly 30 years of ministry experience, having served the Land O’ Lakes community for the past 13 years. Married for 29 years, they are proud parents of two grown children and have welcomed a “daughter in love” into their family. Two years ago, they established Hope City Church, which continues to grow each week. Their mission is to be a Spirit-filled church that helps people find new life in Christ, healing for the hurting, and hope for the world. They have generously partnered with Kingdom Learning Alliance in an effort to institute the Gospel of Jesus Christ back into education.
Andii Hunt is a homeschool mom of an amazing 8 year old son. She also is a certified teacher with more than 17 years experience. She has obtained both the Reading and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) endorsements. She left the classroom to pursue two dreams... 1. Homeschool her son and 2. Encourage kids and their families that they can have a voice in what they learn and how they learn it while having fun, being creative, and working together! When Andii is not teaching or creating learning activities for kids, she loves to spend time with her family, travel, and read.
Mrs. Tia is a passionate and dedicated arts instructor with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the University of South Florida. With extensive experience in acting and performance, she is signed by multiple talent agencies across Florida, bringing real-world industry insights to her students. Ms. Tia’s classes inspire confidence and encourage collaboration, providing a nurturing environment for students to explore drama, storytelling, and movement. Her engaging approach celebrates creativity.
Christopher Morgan – Music Instructor & Creative Mentor Drums | Piano | Guitar | Vocals Christopher Morgan is a passionate music educator and multi-instrumentalist with a gift for inspiring young learners. With expertise in drums, piano, guitar, and vocals, Christopher brings a dynamic and well-rounded approach to teaching—helping students discover their musical voice while building confidence and creativity. Beyond the classroom, Christopher is also a skilled graphic designer, fluent in Adobe Creative Suite programs. His eye for design and love for storytelling often weave into his teaching style, creating visually engaging materials and imaginative learning experiences. Christopher believes that music is a powerful tool for self-expression, connection, and joy. Whether he’s guiding a student through their first chord or helping them master a complex rhythm, his goal is always the same: to make learning fun, meaningful, and empowering. When he’s not teaching or designing, Christopher enjoys life with his wonderful wife and two amazing boys, who keep his world full of laughter, love, and plenty of spontaneous jam sessions.
Mrs. Amy is creative soul and proud mom of four who’s always on the move! As a military wife, she’s mastered the art of finding fun anywhere she goes, bringing her unstoppable energy to everything she does. From leading her Bible study group with laughter and wisdom to diving into DIY projects, she’s the queen of turning “ordinary” into “extraordinary.” Amy loves nothing more than a good craft session or furniture flip, and she's always game for learning something new. Her life motto? "Why not make it fun!" – and she lives by it every day.
Emily, has 9 years of preschool experience and is a mom of two energetic boys. She stays busy with baseball and helping her husband run *The Lesson Company*. On campus, she’s often found capturing memorable moments with her camera and organizing exciting field trips. She also keeps KLA’s social media up-to-date on Facebook and Instagram!
Coach K is a certified ISSA Personal Trainer with a dynamic background coaching athletes from youth leagues to college and even professional levels. Known for his energetic style and commitment to fundamentals, he motivates young athletes to reach their full potential on and off the field or court. With a focus on skill-building, sportsmanship, and resilience, Coach K empowers students to grow athletically and personally. His extensive experience and passion for sports make him a standout coach in any program.
Mrs. Skyler is a dedicated educator and proud mom of two with 12 years of experience in education, including the last five years as a classroom teacher. She holds a degree in Educational Studies and Community Development and is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for her students. Born and raised in Florida, Mrs. Skyler loves coffee, staying organized, and spending quality time with her family. She’s excited to bring her energy, creativity, and dedication to the KLAFL community!
