Kids will mix and stretch gooey, colorful slime while learning about polymers and how substances change form. They’ll whip up homemade play dough in a variety of textures and scents, exploring the science of mixtures and elasticity. Students will also grow stunning rock crystals and discover the wonders of crystallization and mineral formations. In addition, they’ll experiment with edible science, making delicious, safe-to-eat creations that highlight chemical reactions in food.

Rooted in the God's Design for Heaven & Earth curriculum, this course presents meteorology through a biblical lens, emphasizing God’s creation and design in the natural world.

Students will study foundational meteorological concepts such as the water cycle, cloud formation, wind patterns, and extreme weather events, all while recognizing the interconnectedness of the sky ("heaven") and the earth as part of God's intricate plan. Lessons integrate scripture and scientific observation to highlight the order and purpose in God’s design of the atmosphere.

Plants & Pollinators

Which comes first, the plant or the pollinator? Learn about God's amazing creation as we explore plants, pollinators, and some things in-between. We'll talk to a beekeeper and have a honey party!

If your child likes to dive into a variety of science topics including biology, chemistry, astronomy, etc, each student will be engaged with hands-on experiments, fun discussions, and read alouds each week! Students will learn science safety, how to collect and share data, use important science vocabulary, and learn about famous scientists all while having a great time!
Bugs Galore

In this hands-on and interactive class, students will explore the amazing world of insects, learning fun facts about different species each week. From the helpful honeybee to the mysterious praying mantis, we’ll investigate how some bugs are beneficial to our environment while others can be pesky pests.

Students will get up close and personal with live insects in class, observing their behaviors, habitats, and life cycles. Through games, research projects, art, and hands-on activities, we will dive into topics like metamorphosis, pollination, and the role bugs play in our ecosystems. Students will even create their own bug habitats and learn how to care for different insects!
