Become a reading detective in this interactive class, where kids learn to "crack the code" of any book. Instead of just reading words on a page, students will learn simple, actionable strategies to understand, remember, and truly enjoy what they read.
We will play games, collaborate with friends to solve mysteries, and more as we learn how to predict, make connections, visualize, infer, and summarize a variety of fun stories!

Grades 4-5 Reading strategies is a small group reading class for 4th and 5th graders who want to boost their reading skills in a fun, supportive environment. Each week, we’ll explore engaging texts and work together to strengthen key reading strategies.

Middle School Reading & Writing Help
This class is designed to strengthen middle school students' reading and writing skills through engaging exercises and targeted instruction.
Students will work to to write well-structured essays, enhance their reading comprehension, and refine their grammar and sentence structure.
We will work on:

This small group math pod provides a supportive and focused environment for kids who need extra help with foundational math skills.
This class is designed to target common sticking points such as multiplication, fractions, division, and other core concepts that often hold students back as math becomes more advanced. Instruction is personalized within the small group setting, allowing students to get the support they need while building confidence.
Our goal is to strengthen foundational skills, close learning gaps, and help students move forward in math with greater confidence and understanding.

In these 16-week, one-on-one sessions, Dr. Terry L. Jones works with homeschool students to build stronger skills in reading or math in a way that actually clicks. Each 45-minute session is personalized, helping students grow in areas where they struggle while strengthening what they already do well.
