From school news to community events, students will learn how to research, interview, write, and edit articles like professional journalists. They’ll explore different types of journalism—from news stories and opinion pieces to photojournalism and digital media. Students will also get a chance to collaborate on a school newspaper, blog, or broadcast. Along the way, they’ll develop strong writing, critical thinking, and communication skills. If you're curious, creative, and have a nose for news, this class is for you!
