Traditional Skills Workshop: Crafting Foods and Products
We will engage in a variety of hands-on activities to recreate the skills our ancestors relied upon: Making butter from scratch, exploring the process and the science behind it.
Learning the art of canning to preserve fruits and vegetables for long-term storage.
Creating homemade soaps and candles using natural ingredients.
Exploring other traditional crafts that promote self-sufficiency and sustainability.
Through these activities, we'll gain a deeper appreciation for the practices that sustained families in the past and learn practical skills that can benefit us today.
