Students will embark on the creative journey of becoming published authors. Throughout the course, they will learn the fundamentals of storytelling, character development, writing techniques, and editing. Working both individually and collaboratively, students will contribute their own unique ideas, writing, and revisions to create a shared book.
As they progress, students will gain hands-on experience with the writing process, from brainstorming and drafting to revising and polishing their work. They will also explore the basics of self-publishing and traditional publishing, giving them real-world insight into the literary world.

At the end of the semester, students will have the exciting opportunity to see their hard work transformed into a professionally bound book using a publishing kit from Student Treasures. This special keepsake book will be available for purchase separately, allowing students to take home a tangible copy of their collective masterpiece.

Whether they aspire to be authors or simply enjoy creative writing, this course provides a fun and educational space to develop storytelling skills, collaborate with peers, and experience the thrill of becoming a published writer.
